The Tournament was marred by the injury to Garry Donald who suffered a Fracture to the Fibula and Ligament damage during the first game against the Celtic Nations. The competitive team played well considering the loss of a player and no substitutes at all. This made it particularly difficult as all players had to play every minute of every game in very hot conditions. The Recreational team enjoyed the games but were never going to be competition for the hosts and other teams. The one redeeming factor for the recreational team was that Stephen Rudd an exceptional goalkeeper was voted Player of the Tournament.
Well done Stephen
